About our activities

An international project “SKI EASY” with nine partners requires good preparation and strong coordination, which is ensured and managed by the lead partner, the Koper Science and Research Centre in Slovenia. The management structure of the project SKI EASY is designed to be simple, flexible, democratic and efficient in order to achieve the objectives: the processing of knowledge and information and the implementation of the goals. All necessary actions will be taken to facilitate collaboration, improve information exchange, promote synergies between project partners and enable joint efforts involving different skills and technologies.

For the duration of the project, 8 meetings are planned: the first “kick-off” meeting and 7 other meetings, including two telemeetings (online).

The aim of the project meetings is to ensure communication and organisation and implementation of activities between partners, including monitoring, quality control and evaluation of the project. In order to reduce the barriers to participation of COVID -19 pandemic restrictions or green winters (lack of snow)) in the risk management tasks, the organisation of hybrid meetings with on-site and online programme is foreseen.

1st MSE SKI EASY Snow day – Pamporovo, Bulgaria, from 14th to 16th March 2022

The 1st SKI EASY MP EVENT. In a pleasant atmosphere, despite the foggy weather, 20 local children, with the help of demonstrators from the Bulgarian DEMO team (8), enjoyed winter joys and achieved most of the UTM levels in two days. The planned snow activities proceeded in a relaxed and playful manner with the enthusiastic energy of the demonstrators, so the children enjoyed it and wanted to extend this experience for another day.

The first SME was successfully executed, thanks to the organizer Bulgarian Ski Schools, and it gained significant recognition as it took place during the 4th Balkan Ski Conference.

2nd MULTIPLYER SPORT EVENT – SKI EASY SNOW DAYs

 

Our second SKI EASY EVENT – snow days was held between  26 -29 January, 2023 at Kopaonik, Serbia. Event was  organized  by Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Niš, Serbia.

More than 40  children from the city of Niš, participated in SKI EASY snow days, the children enjoyed their first snow adventure and it seems that nature also greeted us with new snow. Event was attended by 8  instructors from the local ski school and UNI Niš, where they acquired new skills from 15 SKIEASY experts from 8 partner organizations

3rd MULTIPLYER SPORT EVENT (MSE) “SKI EASY SNOW DAY”

The third and the last SKI EASY EVENT – snow days and additional SKI EASY meeting were successfully implemented in the warm hospitality of host organizer Department of sport and exercise science, UNISAL and Mutters – Natters ski school Tirol from 5-8 March 2023. Activities started on Sunday, 5 March where 13 ski instructors participated in the curriculum of the SKI EASY unified model of 5 steps, first practical on slope and then also discussing the theoretical part. We are happy to manage and offer participation in total of 182 children from Volksschule Neu Rum, among which 90 kids were ski beginner or less experienced. As such circumstances, not just observation but also help in the ski teaching process was needed from all partners members. Afterwards we got useful feed-back from ski teachers relevant for upgrading the teaching model and other educational materials.

SKI EASY- EASY (Educational, Accessible, Simple, Youthful) approach to the acquisition of skiing skills in the learning process

SKI EASY Unified teaching model (UTM) is a result of the Erasmus+ project “SKI EASY” and is presented in the first manual (pocket edition) that offers a unified approach to teaching skiing/Snowsports in eight different languages.

The project partners, in collaboration with the International Association for Education and Science in Snow Sports (IAESS), have developed educational materials to simplify the work of ski instructors worldwide, making the process of learning to ski more efficient and enjoyable. Utilizing the SKI EASY mobile application and several accompanying manuals with a Scientific References Database (SRDB), we directly apply this content into practice. Becoming a ski instructor using the SKI EASY method involves gaining more knowledge and taking a step toward excellence in the ski instructor profession.
