7th SKI EASY TRANSNATIONAL PARTNER MEETING (ON-LINE)

In his opening remarks, Rado Pišot presented the agenda for the 7th SKI EASY meeting, followed by a welcome from the second organizer, Dieter Bubek (IAESS). He introduced that the SKI EASY Consortium and IAESS have been given a prestigious role at the INTERSKI Congress, where among 4 plenary lectures we will have one entitled: LET’S DO IT EASY – inspiring future generations of snowsports participants, presented by Rado Pišot. The INTERSKI Board has also approved two workshops that will be presented by IAESS and the SKI EASY Consortium:

  1. a) SKI EASY – INTERNATIONAL 5 STEPS LEARNER- CENTERED MODEL OF TEACHING SNOWSPORT
  2. b) ENHANCING TEACHING SNOWSPORT THROUGH DIGITAL TOOLS – SKIEASY MOBAPP

 

At the Quality control of outputs Rado presented update information regarding the development of SKIEASY certificate. SKI EASY curriculum and the progress of  MobAPP – animation together with dictionaries translation and audio recording progress and the preparation phase of pocket manual (Saša Pišot).

  1. c) Announcement of the upcoming SKI EASY SNOW EVENTS (MSE)

Promotion and other necessary tasks of the upcoming SKI EASY multiplier sports events was discussed:

  • 2nd MSE at Kopaonik, 26-29 of January 2023 organised by (UNINIŠ, Serbia)
  • 3rd MSE at Innsbruck 5-8 of March 2023. Jahannes Steidel (UNI SAL, Austria)
  1. Request for two extra TPM. Given the interest of the partners to participate in both the 2nd and 3rd SKI EASY events to discuss the MOBAPP in the field and to be able to evaluate the content of the SKI EASY manuals, the partners decide to ask the relevant EU responsible officer for permission to hold an additional SKI EASY AUDIT meeting.

 

SKI EASY EQUIPMENT –  the partners were informed by Matija Stegnar (SAS-SITAS, Slovenia) about their experience of providing SKI EASY equipment to ski schools for the ski season 2022/23. The response on the call was overwhelming, so they decided to help by giving 40 pieces of ski equipment free of charge to small ski schools, along with supervising the rental free of charge and to provide qualified staff to run courses for children.
